Nigerian singer Chichi has survived a ghastly car accident in the United States, according to reports that emerged on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Actress Uche Elendu raised the alarm on social media, sharing images and footage from the accident scene to show how serious the crash was.
According to Elendu Chichi was hit by a drunk driver while returning from work in the United States. She is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital. Chichi survived the ordeal, which Elendu described as near-fatal.
Elendu wrote: “Thanking the God of Heaven and Earth for saving the life of my beloved sister chichii from this ghastly motor accident, She was hit by a drunk driver on her way back from work in the United States. She is currently receiving treatment but we are grateful to God for saving her. Chi chi has been a blessing to many with her songs and humanitarian assistance. You will bounce back on your feet my sister, indeed the Devil is a Liar. Jesus won!!!”
Fellow celebrities and fans flooded social media with prayers and messages of support for the singer, with many thanking God that she survived.
