Rapper Olamide has released his new single “Burukutu” ahead of his upcoming album.
“Burukutu” was released on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 under Olamide’s record label YBNL Nation accompanied by a music video directed by Music videographer TG Omori. It was produced by Blaise Beatz and Eskeez On The Beat. The song is a street-level jubilation and celebratory culture, opening with the chant “Baddoo we wanna partyyyy!” – blending Yoruba flows, Pidgin and English over high-energy Afrobeats/Afrosounds production
“Burukutu” is Track 4 on his upcoming 13th studio album, Time & Space officially scheduled to drop on Monday, November 16, 2026. The album will contain 10 songs.
It follows his self-titled 11th album Olamidé released in June 2025.
A standout talking point is that the track samples President Bola Tinubu’s popular “enjoy your weekend” remark, which has sparked buzz online.
The single arrives as Olamide prepares for his debut concert at London’s O2 Arena on March 25, 2027 – artist presale began October 21, general sale opens October 23.
