Davido’s sister Sharon Adeleke lands GLAMOUR magazine feature
Sharon Ademefun (nee Adeleke) has bagged her first GLAMOUR South Africa magazine feature, highlighting her journey as an entrepreneur.
In the feature, Sharon talked about her vision beyond fashion and beauty
“For me, it’s bigger than fashion or beauty. It’s about building an ecosystem where we can create world-class products in Nigeria, create jobs and skills locally, and become less dependent on suppliers abroad,” she said.
She revealed she wants to build a supply chain rooted entirely in Nigeria, covering garment manufacturing, fabric sourcing and eventually, cotton farming.
On confidence, she said: “Confidence, for me today, means having the courage to try.”
And her advice to readers:
“You need a strategy, a plan and a timeline. Dreams are important, but being intentional about how you execute them is what turns those dreams into reality.”
Both Davido and his wife Chioma reacted to Sharon’s announcement on Instagram, celebrating the milestone with her.
Sharon is the CEO of Rona Wigs Studio and Rona Group, and also serves as CFO of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
Davido also marked his late son Ifeanyi’s 7th posthumous birthday. The Artist marked a painful anniversary on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, what would have been his late son Ifeanyi Adeleke’s 7th birthday.
Ifeanyi was born on October 20, 2019, to Davido and Chioma. He died on October 31, 2022, aged three, after drowning in a swimming pool at the family’s home in Banana Island, Lagos. The Lagos State Police later confirmed drowning as the cause of death following an autopsy.
In his tribute shared on Instagram Stories and X, Davido wrote: “LLI 🕊️ Happy birthday son.. me and mommy miss and love you! Keep flying high! ❤️”
“LLI” is understood by fans to mean “Long Live Ifeanyi”.
Chioma also honored her son in her own quiet way, revisiting a birthday post she made for him four years ago.
Davido and Chioma welcomed twins in October 2023, a year after Ifeanyi’s death.
