Nigerian Billionaire Aliko Dangote has accepted an invitation to appear on a Nigerian popular YouTube show.
The billionaire businessman agreed to appear on content creator Adebayo Ridwan’s (Bae U Barbie / Isbae U) program “Curiosity Made Me Ask”.
The invitation happened on Monday, October 19, 2026 during Bae U’s visit to the Dangote Refinery in Lagos for an event tagged “Vision 2030”.
Bae U told Dangote that most of his previous interviews were on platforms young people don’t watch, even though youths are interested in his business and its planned IPO.
“Most of the interviews we’ve seen you have been on platforms that my generation don’t watch. I don’t want to mention names so that they won’t sue me, but you know what I mean. Ironically, we youths are interested in investing in your company, buying its IPO, and giving it a platform.” Bae U said.
“So, my question is this: I’m not saying you should sack your media team. I really think it’s high time we had the man with the biggest refinery on the biggest show on YouTube in the world, Curiosity Made Me Ask. So, when do you think we can have you on the show, sir?” He asked to which Dangote agreed, saying the youth are the future and older generations haven’t done enough for Nigeria and Africa. “Honestly, the future that we have is actually you, the youth. We, our own generation, really, we have not really done very well for Nigeria and also for Africa. That’s the truth. So we need to sit down with some of you and discuss our own experience with you.” The Billionaire said.
Dangote also spoke at the same event about living simply, saying: “Today, if you take me to anywhere, if you take me to the worst hotel, I can sleep, I can have my shower, I can live.”
