ENTERTAINMENT: OLAMIDE ANNOUNCES FIRST EVER CONCERT AT O2 ARENA, LONDON, BECOMES 6TH NIGERIAN ARTIST TO HEADLINE AT VENUE.

Nigerian rapper Olamide has announced his first-ever headline concert at London’s O2 Arena for Thursday, 25 March 2027.

The 20,000-capacity show is organized by Hera Touring in association with YBNL Entertainment, and follows his sold-out headline show at the 12,500-capacity OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025.

With this move, Olamide becomes the sixth Nigerian artist to headline the Greenwich venue, joining Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema.

Promoters say the night will be a career-spanning set, from his street-hop anthems to newer records from his self-titled 2025 album, Olamide. Special guests from Afrobeats and the UK scene are expected to be announced soon.

Olamide reacted to the announcement:
“London has always shown me love, from the early days to Wembley. Standing on The O2 stage is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time. The movement is Lagos-built and London amplified, so this one is for everybody who has rocked with me and with YBNL from day one. We’re bringing the whole street to Greenwich. 25 March, make sure you’re there.”
