Nigerian veteran singer J Martins who served as the duo musical brothers P Square producer for many years has urge them both to resolve their differences privately and not to bring it to social media as it is a disgrace to the Ndi Igbo Nation.
J Martins made this known via his post on X following Mr. P (Peter Okoye) the eldest of the P Square duo decision to change his birth date from that which he shared with Rudeboy (Paul Okoye) the younger a decision J Martins said does not make sense.
“These are my brothers for more than two decades. I still don’t understand why one will just wake up decades to change his own birthday separate from his twin brother? @PeterPSquare and RudeboyPsquare can we fix these stuff inside our house and bring this shame on ‘Ndi Igbo nke anyi’”. The beef between the twin brothers resurfaced as of early 2026, following a 2021 reconciliation.
Reports indicate a new rift involving accusations of song theft (Winning, sang by Mr. P), alleged financial issues involving their brother Jude Okoye and accusations of sabotage, leading Peter to declare a permanent separation.
