Davido’s close aide Damilare Aladegbola, AKA Dre (IamDreOfficial), has disclosed that his phone was stolen at Zlatan Ibile’s wedding in Lagos on Saturday October 25.
Zlatan (Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael) married longtime partner Davita Lamai in a traditional ceremony on Saturday, in Lagos – Davido led the groomsmen. Big guest list.
On Monday Oct 26, however, Dre posted on his Instagram Story:
“If na u carry my phone for Zlatan wedding, abeg return am, I go give you money please”
He didn’t say how much, just promised cash reward for whoever returns it.
He followed with a second slide vexing for waitstaff, accusing them of using plate-clearing as cover to pick phones:
“From now on, if I go any party or dey any party and any stupid waitress tell me say are you done eating so I can pack your plate, na swear I go swear for you cause na pattern. Wey una dey use pack phone for table be that now.”
Dre didn’t name any suspect or describe the phone model, but the post suggests the device was left on his table during the reception and disappeared.
The appeal has gone viral – fans are joking that for 30BG crew, losing a phone with contacts and contents is bigger than the device cost itself, hence the cash reward.
No confirmation yet that it’s been returned.
