In a recent interview with VJ Adams, Afrobeats singer Ruger had reflected on missing a chance to feature in one of Funke Akindele’s blockbusters a few years back. He didn’t name the exact film, but said: “I am interested in acting and wouldn’t mind going into the movie industry.
I once missed a DM from Funke Akindele for a movie role. I didn’t even see it on time. That one still pains me, However, I think acting would be difficult for me because I don’t like shooting. But I would get into character still. If my character is interesting, yeah”.
