South Korean actor Jung Eun-woo has passed away at the age of 39, with his family confirming the news but not yet disclosing his cause of death.
The actor’s last Instagram post on February 10, a day to his demise has grabbed attention, featuring images of late stars Leslie Cheung and Amy Winehouse alongside his own photo, captioned “Missing, envying, regretting.. GB. RIP”. Fans speculate that “PIR.BG” could be an upside-down nod to “PIR.BG”, possibly meaning “Goodbye, Rest In Peace”.
Jung Eun-woo was known for his roles in dramas like “Welcome to Waikiki 2”, “Bride of the Sun”, and “My Only One”. He began his acting career in 2006 and had appeared in numerous TV shows and films, including “Memory: Manipulated Murder” in 2021.
His funeral is set to take place at Byeokje Seunghwawon midday of Friday February 13.
