NEWS: SOCIALITE NZUBE HENRY IKEJI POSES AS CROWN PRINCE OF DUBAI TO DEFRAUD ROMANIAN WOMAN $2.5M.

Nigerian socialite, Nzube Henry Ikeji, has been accused of impersonating the Crown Prince of Dubai to defraud a Romanian businesswoman, Laura, of over $2.5 million. Ikeji allegedly used the name Sheikh Hamdan Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to deceive Laura, who was seeking a romantic relationship. He convinced her to meet his “financial manager” in London, where she was introduced to Martins Abhulimhen, posing as Matthew Cros.

Abhulimhen allegedly showed Laura a doctored online account with a balance of £202 million, but she was asked to pay fees to access the funds. She transferred over $2.5 million before realizing she’d been scammed. The Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) investigation revealed Ikeji’s luxurious lifestyle, including a mansion in Abuja and luxury shopping trips to London.

Ikeji has denied the allegations, saying he’ll address them through his lawyers. Both Ikeji and Abhulimhen are reportedly connected to prominent Nigerians, including politicians and business leaders they have been seen hanging out with the likes of Obi Cubana and Davido.
