This comes after Seun Kuti criticized Wizkid and his fans for comparing him to Fela, calling it disrespectful and ignorant. Wizkid responded on social media, saying “I big pass your papa!! Wetin you don do? I’m Big Wiz everyday” and “Fela fight for freedom, this fool dey fight FC! Oloshi Omo ale!”.
The feud started when Seun Kuti warned Wizkid’s fans, known as Wizkid FC, to stop portraying him as a modern-day Fela, saying the comparisons are insulting. Wizkid’s response has sparked a debate about legacy, respect, and greatness in Nigerian music.
