NEWS: GOVERNOR SHERIFF BEGINS CONSTRUCTION OF N59.7B AGBOR/UROMI JUNCTION FLYOVER.

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has officially launched the construction of the N59.7 billion Agbor/Uromi Junction Flyover, on Monday, January 19, marking a significant milestone in the state’s infrastructure development. The project, awarded to Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, is expected to be completed within 14 months and will feature a 1.3-kilometer flyover bridge, dual carriageways, ramps, roundabouts, and solar-powered streetlights.

The flyover is designed to alleviate traffic congestion, improve road safety, and stimulate economic growth in the region. Governor Oborevwori emphasized that the project aligns with his administration’s commitment to even development and provision of modern road infrastructure across the state.

This is the fifth flyover project undertaken by the Oborevwori administration, demonstrating its dedication to transforming Delta State’s infrastructure landscape.
