Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has opened up about the sweet surprise of falling for his wife, Priscilla, without knowing she was a celebrity when they first met.
In a candid conversation, Jux recounted their serendipitous encounter in Rwanda, where he was immediately drawn to her beauty and charm. “I didn’t know she was a celebrity,” he said with a laugh. “I just saw her with Chioma… and I thought, wow, this girl, she’s beautiful. We started talking, and it was just amazing.”
Their connection grew effortlessly, from a basketball game where Priscilla kept her fame under wraps, to playful trips to Zanzibar, and snapshots that captured more than just moments. Jux credits their mutual friend Chioma, jokingly calling her their “matchmaker,” for witnessing it all unfold.
“Honestly, meeting Priscilla was love at first sight,” Jux shared, emphasizing their bond developed purely without the weight of fame. “I just knew she was the one.” He spoke with clear affection for his wife and the joy of their family life.
