Bandits have struck again in Kwara State, abducting 11 residents, including a pregnant woman, two nursing mothers, and several young children, in Isapa, Ekiti Local Government Area.
The attack occurred around 6 p.m. on Monday, November 24, with the gunmen moving through different sections of the town, leaving bullet holes in walls and doors. An elderly woman was reportedly hit by a stray bullet during the incident.
The abducted individuals include Talatu Kabiru 20, Magaji 6,
Kande 5, Hadiza 10, Mariam 6, Saima 5, Habibat, a housewife, Fatima Yusufu, another housewife
Sarah Sunday, 22, a pregnant woman, Lami Fidelis,23, a nursing mother, and Haja Na Allah another nursing mother. The police have yet to provide an update on the rescue efforts.
This latest attack comes just a week after 3 worshippers were killed and 38 were kidnapped and later released in Eruku, Kwara State as confirmed by the Police and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
