It was day 2 of the match day 4 of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League League phase and as usual Europe top teams did not fail to entertain us with spectacular goals and superb displays.
It was a historic night for Pafos FC as the Cypriot side registered it’s first win in the UEFA Champions League after a 1 – 0 win over Villareal CF, Derrick Luckassen’s 46th minute header proving to be the decider.

Chelsea failed to beat Azerbaijani Champions Qarabag away at Baku as both clubs settle for a 2 – 2 draw. Chelsea scoring through Estevao Willian and Alejandro Garnacho while Qarabag scorers are Andrade and Jankovic. Qarabag now get their first point against English oppositions after losing previous meetings with the score line 21 – 1.

It was a night to remember for Nigeria red hot striker Victor Osimhen as he scored all goals, an hat trick in Galatasaray 3 – 0 away victory against rock bottom sides Ajax.

Club Brugge held Spanish giants Barcelona to a dramatic 3 – 3 draw at home, winger Carlos Forbs setting up Nicolo Tresoldi for the opener and then scoring a brace, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal pulled one each for Barça before a Christof Tzolis 77th own goal spared Barça a point.

2023 Winners Manchester City demolished Borrussia Dortmund 4 – 1 at the Etihad, Phil Foden with a brace, Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki with one each. Waldemar Anton scored a consolation goal for the Germans.
