Police officers from the Sapele Division, Delta State intervened in an incident involving suspected phone thief. On Thursday October 30 night, a suspected phone thief was rescued from an angry mob that had apprehended him after he allegedly stabbed a victim a young Hausa man and stole his mobile phone.
The incident happened around Shell road and new road in Sapele. The suspect was beaten to a stupor before being handed over to the police.
