Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna has spoken out about partying after her sister’s burial, emphasizing that people grieve differently.
She took to social media to share a heartfelt message, saying “Grief has no manual, no fixed face, and no timetable. The fact that I choose to keep living, smiling, or sharing moments does not erase the pain I carry. Respect the process, even if you do not understand it. If you cannot extend compassion, then at least extend silence”.
Phyna’s statement comes after a video surfaced of her clubbing with Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, sparking criticism from some who felt she was moving on too quickly after her sister Ruth Otabor’s tragic death in a Dangote truck accident in August.
However, many fans and fellow celebrities have rallied around her, praising her for being honest about her grief and encouraging others to respect her process.
