A 13-year-old boy was tragically killed by a stray bullet in Sapele, Delta State. The incident occurred around 10 pm on Thursday night when security men on guard duty at a popular hotel allegedly fired sporadic shots, hitting the boy at Mopol Zone junction in the Tropical area.
The reasons behind the security men’s actions are still unclear. This incident has caused tension in the area, and the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, has yet to comment on the matter.
