The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the death of a 60-year-old American woman named Jacqueline Bolling Elton.
According to reports, Jacqueline fell ill on September 29 while visiting her 39-year-old boyfriend, Alawode Olaide, in Warri, Delta State. She was rushed to a private hospital in Otokutu and later pronounced dead at the Central Hospital in Warri.
The exact cause of her death is still under investigation, with authorities working to determine the circumstances surrounding her passing.
Alawode Olaide, Jacqueline’s boyfriend, has been taken into custody for questioning by the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
