NEWS: MAN SHOT DEAD IN OJO, LAGOS AFTER A CLUB FIGHT.

A man identified as Alex, also known as Fleximore, was shot dead in Iyana Isashi, Ojo, Lagos, after a fight in a nightclub. The incident occurred on Friday, September 27, 2025, around 8 pm. According to reports, Alex had an altercation with some strangers at the club, which likely led to the attack. Two men on a bike accosted him later that day, and one of them shot him at close range.

Alex was rushed to the hospital, where he remained in a coma until he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
According to people Alex lives in Cele Niza and he was an easy going person in his lifetime.
“Alex stays at Cele Niza here in Iyana Isashi” Someone who seems to know the deceased began “He had just come back from his place of work when he stepped out again, probably to meet a friend.

He was on his way when some men on a bike stopped him on the way and shot him. It was the sound of the gunshot that attracted people around, who rushed to the spot and found him lying in a pool of blood. The gunmen were also seen trying to escape from the area while still on the bike.”

Alex was immediately rushed to the hospital immediately where he was treated but then on Wednesday October 1 he sadly gave up the ghost.
“We lost him this morning.

He had been in a coma since that Friday, and doctors tried all they could to save him, but he did not make it,” the person who seems to know him disclosed.
Another person simply known as Quadri disclosed that Alex might have been killed due to having an altercation with a person in a club.

He said: “Alex is an easy-going person and does not make trouble, but we don’t know the kind of person he had issues with at the nightclub, and that is why some people said the attack was most likely a result of what happened at the club.”

The police are yet to make an official statement on the incident.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, said she would call the DPO in the area to confirm. Residents have called for police intervention to address cult-related attacks in the area.
