Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage in a recent interview has cleared the air regarding her sex tape that was all over the internet in 2021. Tiwa Savage was a guest at the latest edition of “The Breakfast Club” where she revealed that the sex tape was real and that it was leaked was as a result of bet between her now Ex-boyfriend and his friends.
“I actually did that with my boyfriend. He said he accidentally pressed sent when he was trying to save it. But I later found out that it was a bet with his friends”
Tiwa said she felt betrayed by her Ex-boyfriend for recording the action without her consent and then after sending it online she was told by a blackmailer to pay a certain amount and when she refused the video casted on the internet.
She further went on to say she received “bashes” from the Western World but what people didn’t know was that she was victimized in the video leakage as they ignored that part.
Despite the humiliations she received after the leakage the 45 year old was able to continue her career relentlessly. She even made a verse on the sex tape saga in “Loaded”, her collaboration with Asake. Tiwa recently dropped a new album “This one is personal” which contains 15 tracks and features Skepta, Taves, and James Fauntleroy.
