Actress Sarah Martins has decried body shaming, especially against women who undergo liposuction and Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL).
In a post on Instagram, the actress urged critics to stop judging those who chose cosmetic procedures, stressing that everyone has the right to decide what works best for their bodies.
She clarified that liposuction is not a shortcut to massive weight loss but a procedure that often follows significant weight reduction, sometimes after gastric bypass surgery, to achieve more defined results.
Martins also highlighted that liposuction does not guarantee a flawless figure, noting that maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including proper diet and exercise, is essential to sustaining its benefits.
She encouraged women to either embrace their natural looks or confidently opt for surgery without fear of stigma or judgment.
She wrote, “Stop talking down on people who got their body done, sis, if you knew the amount of work they put in just to get a good result, you would understand the fact that liposuction will not fix your massive weight.
