NEWS: 25 TERRORISTS KILLED IN YOBE, BORNO IN A COORDINATED NIGHT OPERATION BY NAF.

he Nigerian Air Force (NAF) conducted a coordinated night air operation on September 18, eliminating over 25 terrorists in Yobe and Borno states.

The operation targeted terrorist hideouts in Bula, Yobe State, and the Banki axis of Borno State. The NAF used strike aircraft to engage the terrorists in three successive precision strikes on their movement routes and assembly areas.

“Subsequently, the strike aircraft engaged the terrorists in three successive precision strikes on their movement routes and assembly areas, effectively eliminating more than 25 fighters,” Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, stated
The operation was conducted following credible intelligence provided by ground troops, which enabled the NAF to track terrorist movements and identify multiple groups north of Banki.


After the strikes, surveillance confirmed that ground forces remained in defensive positions with no further threats observed.

The operation underscored NAF’s decisive support to ground troops and its commitment to securing Nigeria’s North-East.
The NAF emphasized its resolve to deny terrorists freedom of action and movement in the region.
