Chef Dammy has denied rumors that she’s planning to cook the largest pot of beans to break a Guinness World Record. After Hilda Baci’s recent feat of cooking the largest pot of jollof rice, speculations emerged that Chef Dammy would attempt to cook the largest pot of beans. However, in a video posted on her Instagram account, Dammy clarified that she has no such plans, calling the rumors “baseless”.
Chef Dammy also congratulated Hilda Baci on her achievement, describing it as a win for Nigeria’s food industry and a great recognition for the country’s culinary culture. She emphasized that her energy is directed towards her personal growth, brand building, and motivating the next generation of chefs.
“So, I am making this video because of those asking if I want to cook again?
Some of my classmates are asking if I truly want to cook beans?’ Like, no! Why would I do that? I will like to say a very big congratulations to Miss Hilda for the just completed project of cooking biggest pot of jollof rice to feed thousands. Congratulations to Nigeria and to all the African countries”, Dammy stated.
Chef Dammy became popular in 2023 after her controversial cook-a-thon attempt after Hilda Baci broke the record for the longest hour of cooking.
