The body found in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd has been identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, a missing teen from Lake Elsinore in Riverside County. She was reported missing nearly a year ago and was found deceased in the car’s trunk, which was stored at an impound lot in Hollywood.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating her death, treating it as a homicide.
Celeste Rivas was 5’1″ with wavy black hair and had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…”. She was last seen wearing a tube top, black leggings, a yellow metal bracelet, and metal stud earrings.
Authorities have not made any arrests, and the cause of death is still pending further investigation.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is cooperating with the authorities despite not being in town when the body was discovered.
The Tesla was one of several vehicles registered to D4vd, and multiple people had access to his cars, according to the LAPD.
There’s no clear connection between D4vd and the victim aside from the vehicle registration. Interestingly, D4vd also has the same “Shhh…” tattoo on his right index finger, but this doesn’t necessarily imply a connection to the victim.

Rivas, from Lake Elsinore in California, was 13 at the time of her disappearance and was last seen on 5 April 2024, according to a missing person flyer cited by CBS, the BBC’s US partner.
The remains were not intact and it appeared the girl had been dead for an extended period of time.
Police say D4vd is co-operating with the investigation.
