Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, delivered a heartfelt and powerful address after her husband’s tragic shooting death. Erika Kirk stood beside her late husband’s empty studio chair, holding his cross necklace, and expressed her gratitude to first responders, President Donald Trump, and Vice President JD Vance for their support.
“Mr President, my husband loved you. And he knew that you loved him too,” she said tearfully, also thanking Vance and his wife Usha for accompanying the casket back to Arizona.
But most of all, Charlie loved his children. And he loved me. With all his heart. And he made sure I knew that every day.” She continues.
She vowed to carry on Charlie’s mission, stating that “the movement my husband built will not die”
Erika emphasized the spiritual nature of her husband’s work, saying “above all, it is spiritual” and quoting Bible verses that guided his life, such as Ephesians 5:25.
She shared a poignant moment of comforting her 3-year-old daughter, telling her “Daddy loves you so much, he’s on a work trip with Jesus”.
Erika issued a stern warning to those responsible for her husband’s assassination, saying “the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry”.
“You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife, the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.
“They should all know this: if you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before you have no idea, you have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world.”
She assured that Charlie’s podcast and radio show would continue, and his wisdom would endure through the ongoing work of Turning Point USA.
