‎Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commended the Cherubim and Seraphim Church for a century of faith and service to humanity.

‎Speaking at the church’s centenary celebration held at Tafawa Balewa Square on Tuesday in Lagos State, the governor, represented by his Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde, described the church as a vital partner in nation-building, TVC reports.

‎It is a privilege for me to be here with you, as you mark a remarkable milestone, a hundred years of faith, service and the impact of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraph.

‎“For a centenary, this great order has been more than just a spiritual decision, it has been a reliable ally in transforming lives and strengthening our communities,” Sanwo-Olu added.

‎Sanwo-Olu congratulated the leaders and members of the church, expressing hope that the next centenary celebration would be filled with “abundant grace, impact and divine purpose.”

‎Earlier, the Iya Aladura General of Cherubim and Seraphim, Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye, urged the church to prioritise the education and development of young people, describing them as the future of Nigeria.
