ENTERTAINMENT: ADEKUNLE DEFENDS BBNAIJA HOUSE MATES OVER ROMANTIC MOMENTS.

Adekunle, a former Big Brother Naija reality star, has come to the defense of the current Season 10 housemates, criticizing the backlash they’ve faced over intimate moments on the show.

He argues that the housemates are consenting adults who haven’t done anything wrong by being physically attracted to each other, especially since the show is rated 18.

Adekunle emphasizes that the housemates are adults who can make their own decisions, and the show’s 18+ rating implies that viewers should expect mature content.

“So, because consenting adults ON A RATED 18 show who are clearly attracted to each other get intimate, that’s why you guys are coming up with all these think pieces? The amount of hypocrisy I’ve witnessed from you guys this week alone is very laughable.

“What do you guys really think happens when adults are left together in a confined space? Please let’s be real. Not one single person in that house has done anything wrong because they’re attracted to someone else. This image shaming, reputation damaging, name calling and things you guys are on, is exactly what is killing the show.” Adekunle wrote.

He accuses critics of hypocrisy, suggesting that many of them likely engage in similar behavior in private but judge the housemates for being open about their relationships on the show.

Notable intimacy in the show that has come under heavy criticism and defended by Adekunle were Koyin and Isabella who were seen in a compromising position under the duvet, sparking widespread criticism, Jason Jae and Sultana Footage showing Sultana’s head moving under a duvet, suggesting oral intimacy, which also drew negative reactions and also Mide and Bright Morgan.

Adekunle defended these housemates as well, emphasizing that they’re consenting adults.

Adekunle’s comments reflect a broader debate about the show’s content and the public’s expectations. As a former housemate, he urges fans to focus on the entertainment value of the show rather than just the romantic relationships and drama.
