TRANSFER DAY DEADLINE: BAYERN AGREE NEW £70.5m JACKSON’S DEAL.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich has agreed to a new £70.5m deal to sign Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson on loan with an obligation to buy. Here’s the breakdown
• Loan Fee: £14.25m (€16.4m), which is the same as initially reported but with a slight variation in wording.
• Obligation to Buy: The deal includes an obligation for Bayern to buy Jackson for £56.25m (€65m) after the loan period.

• Total Deal Value: The combined loan fee and buyout clause amount to £70.5m.

The deal was reportedly back on track after Chelsea initially pulled out due to an injury to Liam Delap. Jackson is expected to agree to a 5-year deal with Bayern, with the obligation to buy potentially triggered by a certain number of appearances.

This transfer signifies a significant move for both Jackson and Bayern Munich. Nicolas Jackson played 81 matches for the Blues across two seasons scoring 30 goals.

He only signed a 2 year deal to keep him at the club till 2033 last year’s September but his relationship with the club faithfuls is said to have gone sour after his careless red card against Flamengoes just 4 minutes after his introduction as the Blues suffered a 3 – 1 loss to the Brazilians their only loss in the 2025 FIFA club world cup.
