Nollywood Actress Eniola Badmus has publicly apologized to fellow Actress Laide Bakare on Instagram on Tuesday, October 20, trying to end their long-running feud.
The apology follows a viral clip from her appearance on Isbae U’s “Curiosity Made Me Ask” podcast. When the host mentioned Bakare as one of his favourite actresses, Badmus hissed and changed her facial expression, which sparked backlash online.
In her statement, Badmus wrote:
“On reflection, I realise my reaction when Laide Bakare’s name was mentioned during my recent interview could have come across as dismissive, and for that, I sincerely apologise. Laide, whatever our differences, I choose peace and I genuinely wish you well.
We’re all growing, learning and becoming better versions of ourselves. Sometimes maturity is simply knowing when to let go and move forward.
Joo maa binu. No negativity. No grudges. Let love lead and peace reigns.”
Both Actresses feud goes way back to March 2024 when Eniola Badmus appeared to mock Bakare’s outfit a white outfit with an orange cape at Bakare’s book launch, writing on Instagram: “Ewo ninu yin lo wo Aso Pastor Ajidara. Abeg who??”
