Nollywood actress and beauty queen Tenia Abraham Omenogor has died at the tender age of 32.
According to her family, she died on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 after suffering from a kidney infection.
Her family announced the death on Thursday, October 15 on her TikTok page, describing her as “a vibrant talent, a loving daughter, sister and friend”:
“With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Nollywood actress, a vibrant talent, a loving daughter, sister and friend”
Tenia wass buried on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja. Mourners gathered at the mortuary of the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, Abuja by 9am before the burial at 10am.
The obituary listed her lifespan as 1993 to 2026, and described her as “a beautiful soul, a gifted talent, gone too soon. She lived with passion, touched many lives with her talent and left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten”
Beyond acting, Tenia held the title of Beauty Queen South 2020.
A post she made in August has resurfaced since her death, where she wrote: “One day we will leave this world. Let’s love lead.”
