Nigerian singer Bnxn has taken to his X on Thursday April 23, 2026 to hit back at American singer Fat Joe who had claimed that Jamaica started Afrobeats and not Africa.
Bnxn tweeted on his X: “The hate in your heart and your misinformation about African music and its artists is why your chromosomes are all f**ked up. Educate yourself bozo @fatjoe.
” Fat Joe in a recent episode of Joe and Jada alongside Jamaican dancehall Artist Buju Banton had said: “Jamaica started Afrobeats, even though everything comes from Africa” Fat Joe also claimed Bnxn was forced to change from his former stage name Buju to Bnxn because of Buju Banton.
