Afrobeats star Lojay in a recent episode of the “I said what I said” podcast has revealed that he initially thought that making it big in the music industry is an opportunity to womanize that is have fun with a lot of women but he has now seen the need not to do so.
Lojay said the life he was once enticed to live when he was still an upcoming was no longer enticing to him when he got to the top and that musicians are disciplined being mindful of the actions they take and lives they live in order not to tarnish their hard earned reputation.
According to him, in order to have longevity in the industry like the big 3 (Wizkid, Davido, Burnaboy) you need to be disciplined and stay away from too many girls.
“There is a lot of temptation in the music industry.
You will see a lot of things, but you are not meant to touch. I used to think I would frolic with a lot of ladies because there are babes everywhere. But when you have about 100 girls talking to you, that is when you need to cultivate discipline I realised if you want a long career like the Big 3, you have to stay away from too many girls” Lojay said.
