ENTERTAINMENT: NIGERIAN DJ ASSOCIATION TEMPORARILY BANS BURNA BOY SONGS FROM PLAYLISTS AFTER CLASH WITH DJ TUNEZ AT OBI’S HOUSE.

The Nigerian DJ Association (NDJ) has temporarily banned Burna Boy’s songs from their playlists following a clash with DJ Tunez at Obi’s House, a popular Afrobeats event in Lagos.

The NDJ stated that Burna Boy’s music is “temporarily out of any of our DJs’ playlists until further notice” as they investigate the incident.
“Burna Boy Music is temporarily out of any of our DJs playlist till further notice.

Our team will carry out a proper investigation on the incident that happened to one of our own, DJ Tunez. We urge the DJs in Nigeria as a whole to be vigilant and be respectful to any individual male or female artist in their various events”

The altercation reportedly occurred at Obi’s house after DJ Tunez was only playing Wizkid’s songs and not Burna Boy’s despite Burna Boy’s presence. DJ Tunez shared a cryptic post on social media afterwards.

The NDJ emphasized their commitment to protecting DJs and promoting respect within the entertainment industry, urging DJs to maintain professionalism and respect towards artists.
