This victory marks a significant step for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, ending a run of four consecutive semi-final defeats.
This is Arsenal’s first final appearance since 2020 FA cup final which they won against same Chelsea.
They will face either Manchester City or Newcastle United in the final on March 22 at Wembley Stadium. Manchester City are currently on 2 goal advantage ahead of the Etihad clash having won Newcastle United 0-2 in their first leg clash at Saint James park.
