ENTERTAINMENT: HILDA BACI BAGS ANOTHER GUINESS WORLD RECORD, NOW A THREE TIME RECORD HOLDER.

Nigerian chef and media personality Hilda Effiong Bassey popularly known as Hilda Baci is now a three-time Guinness World Record holder! Her record-breaking jollof rice feat has been recognized not only as the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice but also as the largest serving of rice overall, weighing 8,780 kilograms (19,356 lb 9 oz).
Hilda Baci was notified about by Guinness World Record via email about her latest feat saying: “it has come to our attention … that you also achieved the record title of ‘Largest serving of rice.’”
This achievement adds to her existing records, including the longest cooking marathon by an individual, set in 2023 and largest pot of rice in 2025.

Hilda’s latest record was confirmed by Guinness World Records, and she’s expressed her gratitude and surprise, crediting her team and supporters for their hard work. “Woke up a three-time Guinness World Records holder and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it,” she wrote on her Instagram.

This feat showcases Nigeria’s rich culinary heritage and Hilda’s dedication to her craft.
