ENTERTAINMENT: JERIQ REVEALS MUSIC SAVED HIM FROM LIFE OF CRIME.

Nigerian rapper Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani, known professionally as JeriQ has revealed that music saved him from a life of crime and potentially prison. In a recent interview with The Smallie, a YouTuber the Enugu born Artist shared his journey from growing up in a tough neighborhood to pursuing a career in music, stating that rapping helped him channel his energy positively and avoid trouble.


“I have been arrested multiple times by law enforcement agencies due to vices. If you look at my hands and legs, you will see scars of handcuffs. Anti-cult, police have all arrested me before. Thank God for music. If not for music, I would probably be in prison by now,” he said.

JeriQ has been making waves in the Nigerian music scene, rapping in his indigenous Igbo language. he has collaborated with top Nigerian Artistes like Odumodublvck, Zlatan, Boy Spyce, Blaqbknez and Phyno. his story is an inspiration to many young artists.
