Senator Ned Nwoko has pushed back against recent social media allegations made by his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, concerning their children, asserting that she hasn’t been denied access to them.
In a statement posted on his X account Tuesday, Nwoko emphasized that Daniels’ absence from the children’s lives was a choice she made, citing existing court directives.
According to Nwoko, a court has already issued a ruling on the matter, mandating that Daniels undergo rehabilitation and an assessment by the Abuja Social Welfare Department before she can regain access to the children.
He criticized Daniels’ recent posts as “misleading and inconsistent with long-established family practice,” suggesting her claims don’t align with the legal process.
The statement comes amid tensions between the pair, with the nature of their separation and child custody sparking public curiosity. With the court’s involvement, the situation remains under legal scrutiny.
