Estevão was the star of the show as Chelsea dismantled 10-man Barcelona 3-0 in the Champions League matchday 5 highly anticipated fixture at Stamford Bridge

. The Blues controlled the match, with Marc Cucurella shutting down Lamine Yamal. Joules Kounde paried the ball into his own net in the 27th minute to put Chelsea ahead, Captain Ronald Araújo was then sent off for a second yellow card after fouling Marc Cucurella, leaving Barcelona with 10 men before the break, Chelsea continue dominating in the second half and after 10 minutes Estevao doubled the league with a brilliant strike, the 18-year-old Brazilian sensation scored a stunning solo goal, beating two defenders before slamming the ball into the roof of the net.

Substitute Liam Delap added a third goal for Chelsea to seal the game. The London club also saw three of their goals disallowed.

Other Champions League results saw a second fiddle Manchester City side lost 2-0 to Bayer Leverkusen, with Alejandro Grimaldo and Patrik Schick scoring. Erling Haaland was subbed in but the Norwegian couldn’t do much to change the scoreline.

Borussia Dortmund beat 10-man Villarreal 4-0, with Serhou Guirassy scoring a brace.

Juventus edged Bodo/Glimt 3-2, with Jonathan David scoring a stoppage-time winner.
