ENTERTAINMENT: AN OLD VIDEO SURFACES SHOWCASING REGINA DANIEL’S MOTHER ADDRESSING MARRIAGE CONTROVERSY

A resurfaced video has sparked controversy surrounding Regina Daniels and her marriage to billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko. In the old clip, Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, confirms she married Ned Nwoko at the age of 17, contradicting earlier claims made by Regina herself.

The controversy began when Ned Nwoko claimed Regina was involved with drugs, prompting Regina to respond that she married him at 17. However, Rita Daniels has now confirmed that her daughter was indeed 17 when she married Ned Nwoko, stating that Regina was in love with him and informed her of her decision to marry at a young age.

The marriage, which took place on June 20, 2019, in Asagba, Delta State, has been marred by disputes between the couple. Ned Nwoko claims to have bought Regina a house in Asaba, Delta state, and provided monthly allowances to her family members, including an estimated transfer of ₦125 million to Rita Daniels in the last two years.

The situation has been further complicated by allegations made by Regina’s brother, Sweezzy, regarding the death of Ned Nwoko’s son, who allegedly died from a heart seizure and failure due to excessive drug intake. Ned Nwoko has responded with accusations of harassment, claiming Sweezzy has been harassing his children and domestic staff, leading to Sweezzy’s current detention.
