Engineer shyngle wigwe,father of the late access bank CEO herbert wigwe,has has contradicted claims of him in a disagreement with his grandchildren over his late son’s asset.
If you could recall as of February 2024,over helicopter accident which took the lives of his wife and their eldest son.
Rumors has been circulating since then over alleged dispute of the family over the vast estate left by the CEO behind.
According to report 90 years old father of the late banker,was purportedly engaged in an emotional battle with herbert children to take possession of his son’s fortunes .
In recent meeting with Nigeria television authority[NTA]engineer wigwe throw out the claims,describing them as unfounded and fiction.
He says”How can I want to claim Herbert’s properties? Who is the best person to defend Herbert’s properties? The father or a friend? The Father at 90 years? My grandchildren are there! Haba! I beg your pardon! How many more days have I got to live? So what will I do with Herbert’s properties? I trained Herbert. I brought him up, not a single penny from anybody went in to bringing Herbert up? The mother is here.
He also said that at his advanced age,he has no interest whatsoever in his son’s assets,given that he focus more now on his peace,family unity and preserving his late son’s patrimony.
