Nigeria talented music artists Davido Adeleke,popularly known to many as Davido,has been given appointment as the chairman of osun sports trust fund.
This appointed was announced by the government of osun state on Wednesday, 22 October, 2025,as parts of efforts revitalize the state sport sector.
According to the statement, Davido’s new role is aimed at mobilising resources to drive the development and modernisation of sports facilities across Osun State.
Confirming the reports the deputy governor of osun state says ” According to the statement, Davido’s new role is aimed at mobilising resources to drive the development and modernisation of sports facilities across Osun State.
The deputy governor also added that “Davido’s involvement is expected to attract substantial funds that will significantly impact the growth of sports in Osun”.
Governor ademola adeleke also pledges to make sport the center of youth development in the state.
