NEWS: NIGERIANS ARE SUFFERING CAUSE OF APC LEADERSHIP – RAUF AREGBESOLA.

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, former Governor of Osun State and the current National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of mismanaging Nigeria, citing widespread hunger, insecurity, and infrastructure decline.

He made this statement during the launch of the ADC Secretariat in Ilorin, Kwara State, where he emphasized the ADC’s commitment to serving the people and providing a credible alternative to the APC in the 2027 general elections.

He stated that “hunger has taken over the land” and that Nigerians are suffering due to the APC’s failure to address economic challenges.

Aregbesola expressed concern over rising insecurity in Kwara State, particularly in rural areas, which has disrupted farming and livelihoods. He urged the government to take more action to restore peace and protect lives. He accused the APC of prioritizing personal enrichment and political intimidation over the welfare of Nigerians.

“Under the current administration, hunger has taken over the land. Governance has been reduced to personal enrichment and political intimidation. Nigerians are suffering because of the failure of leadership at all levels under the APC, The hatred of Nigerians for the ruling party is obvious, and the party that will harvest that unpopularity is the ADC”.

Aregbeshola was the Governor of Osun State serving two terms between 2010 to 2018. He was a member of All Progressives Congress (APC) before defecting to his current party ADC.
