O’tega Ogra, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on digital engagement, strategy, and new media, has threatened to sue Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo over a social media dispute.
The issue began when Dakolo called out Ogra, accusing him of ignoring his calls despite completing a job. Dakolo’s post read, “Mr @otegaogra please pick your calls. I did my job”.
In response, Ogra described the matter as an “institutional issue” and warned Dakolo against personalizing it, stating that further attempts to do so would be met with “formal correction and the appropriate professional and legal redress”.
Ogra emphasized that his record is public and stands on its merits, implying that he won’t engage in unnecessary explanations. He describes the issue as institutional, warns against personalization, and threatens legal action.
Ogra was appointed as Tinubu’s senior special assistant on digital engagement, strategy, and new media in 2023.
