The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned Oguibe Promise Nkwachukwu, an accountant with Travelstar Web Logistics Limited, and his company, Wifamapp Royalty Global Limited, before the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja.
Nkwachukwu is accused of stealing approximately N200 million belonging to his former employer.
The alleged theft occurred between 2018 and 2020, with specific instances involving $156,000 and $36,000 entrusted to Nkwachukwu as the company’s accountant.
He faces 13 counts of stealing and dishonest conversion of funds
Nkwachukwu pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The court remanded him at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, pending a bail hearing scheduled for October 17, 2025
The EFCC alleges that Nkwachukwu dishonestly converted the funds to his own use, violating the Criminal Law of Lagos State.
