SPORTS EPL: HAALAND SET ANOTHER MAN CITY RECORD AS GUARDIOLA REACHES MILESTONE IN PREMIER LEAGUE.

Man city red-hot striker Erling Haaland has set another Manchester City record, scoring in 22 different stadiums in England, with only Anfield, Liverpool’s home ground, left on his list. Haaland achieved this feat after scoring against Brentford in a 1-0 win at the Gtech Community Stadium. Notably, he has scored 9 Premier League goals this season and has a remarkable record against London teams, with 21 goals in 22 appearances in various competitions.

Despite his impressive record, Haaland has struggled to score against Liverpool, particularly at Anfield, where he has drawn once and lost twice in three matches with Manchester City. However, he has previously scored at Anfield while playing for Red Bull Salzburg in the 2019-20 Champions League.

Mancity Head Coach Pep Guardiola also reach a milestone after the victory at GTech Stadium with the Spainiard now having 250 Premier League games in just 349 games. This is 74 games less than previous holder Arsene Wenger. The former Barcelona and Bayern Manager has dominated English football since his arrival in 2016 winning 6 Premier Leagues out of 9 and a host of other trophies including winning the English Football League cup back to back 4 times in a row between 2018 and 2021. He also guided the club to it’s maiden Uefa Champions League triumph in 2023, a season where he won the continental treble only missing out on the English Football League cup which was won by Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United.
