NEWS: GOVERNOR ALIYU GIFTS MONEY, RICE TO FAMILIES OF VICTIMS OF BANDIT ATTACKS.

Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has shown compassion to the families affected by the recent bandit attacks in Kware and Gwadabawa Local Government Areas. The Sokoto State Government released N69.75 million and 210 bags of rice as relief support to families affected by the bandit attacks.


Each family of those killed will receive N2 million and five bags of rice, while each injured victim will get N250,000 and three bags of rice. Governor Aliyu emphasized the government’s commitment to restoring peace and security across the state, urging residents to support the efforts to tackle insecurity.


The bandit attacks in Kware and Gwadabawa resulted in 33 deaths and 15 injuries, highlighting the ongoing security challenges in the region.
