NEWS: GLO FOUNDATION GIVES OUT FOOD PACKS, HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS TO DELTA WOMEN.

Glo Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Globacom, recently empowered thousands of women in Delta State with food packs and household essentials through its “Giving Back Together” initiative.

The event was held at Urhobo College in Warri, where women from various local government areas, including Warri North, Warri South, Aladja, Ughelli South, Udu, and Uvwie, benefited from the program.
Each beneficiary received a package containing 5kg of rice, 5kg of garri, semovita, spaghetti, vegetable oil, tomato paste, sardines, seasoning cubes, noodles, and other essentials.

The initiative focuses on supporting vulnerable groups, particularly women and children, who are often disproportionately affected by economic hardship.
Many women expressed gratitude, with some offering prayers for the company’s continued success. Princess Omo-Udoyo from Ughelli North said, “I have not seen this before.

I thank God and Glo Foundation for this gift.” The “Giving Back Together” initiative is planned to extend to other key cities across Nigeria, bringing relief to thousands more women and families.

Glo Foundation’s humanitarian efforts demonstrate its commitment to giving back to the community, particularly to vulnerable populations. By providing essential items, the initiative aims to cushion the effects of economic hardship and support those in need.
