According to reports, Maduagwu attempted to escape from her window when she heard the robbers approaching. She jumped out of the window and sustained severe injuries. Despite being alive when the police arrived, she was unable to receive immediate medical attention due to the police vehicle lacking fuel.
The Nigeria Police have launched an investigation into the incident, with the FCT Police Command’s tactical teams, including the Special Anti-Robbery Squad and Special Intelligence Unit, taking over the case.
