NEWS: COURT RESCHEDULES KANU’S HEARING TO SEPTEMBER 26 DUE TO HEALTH CONDITIONS.

The Abuja High Court has brought forward Nnamdi Kanu’s hearing to September 26, initially scheduled for October 10. This development is in response to Kanu’s urgent application for release, primarily due to his deteriorating health condition.

The new hearing date is now September 26, 2025, before Justice James Omotosho
Kanu’s health concerns, specifically a life-threatening heart condition that requires specialized medical attention not readily available at the detention center was the reason for the pushing of the hearing.
Kanu’s lawyers have filed an affidavit highlighting the inadequacy of current medical facilities to treat his condition
The Federal Government’s lawyers have served a 37-page counter-affidavit, but expressed readiness to address the matter despite the short notice

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been facing terrorism charges.
